Grades Released : Got above Expected

• Not getting time (or rather place) to write these days due to project and DS. Aman and Kush went to hostel so now I have got place. There are lot of events worth describing in the past 3 days.

• Tow days back I experienced something which made my belief that praying to God works. The DS assignment that I had fucked up in 210/hall 1. I prayed God to somehow mend that thing for me. And when in the next class we were getting checked copies, I was not expecting my name to be announced. But t was there! Yes! I guess that some good soul of hall 1 or may be some uparwale ka farishta had seen my assignment and put it in 310. Or may be God Himself had done this! Whatever it may be it made my belief in prayer stronger.
  

• Tomorrow the grades for the second sem. released. Here is my Grade Sheet Not a very big event for me. After the maths exam in 12th board my adrenaline level dosen't takes a maxima before exams and Results. My SPI was more than what I was expecting--- 9.3. With that my CPI becomes 8.4 . Hence going by seniors' saying that Ur final CPI is what it's after first year, I think an 8.4 is decent enough for me. Got an unexpected A in Java and B in Phy Lab. Eh.... Never mind. Shadab got 8.4 but he was unsatisfied. Aman Bhatia dassa again! I felt sad about Kush (he got 5.5). He didn't exibited but I think he would have been worried.

• Had long chat with Ishan on 24th may. We discussed on many things. And I told him the exact phrase that was discovered by me and fits on me very well. "meri life k 2-km k radius k andar-andar koi ladki nahi hai". And my one of the principles of life which is very well described by an SMS from Mathur: Never pray God to give you what you wish but pray Him to give you what you deserve because often you deserve more than you wish. Heard about Mathur from Ishan. He is again having problems with his low confidence and some problems with the teachers in his college. I felt really sad about him because I know he is a very good guy.
  

• Two days back I came to know a horrible thing. I had described the case of Kush getting into Aman's account. Since then we were doing different experiments on copying mozila files. We got to know the filenames of which files save password, which have master password and other stuffs like that. In the morning I came to CC and just tried to do the same with some other person's files. Oh God! It worked! It's so easy! Those fools who had sved there passwords in the mozila browser and have given read permission to all users were in danger. After that I tried it with some other people. Ihad the fancy of looking int mailbox of girls. So tried it on some girls. It worked. Broke into gmail account, orkut account, webmail accounts......... But Kush told one incident that took place some 2 years back. A boy was caught using some password breaking software and he was terminated! Damn it! Damn dangerous man! I realised that the situation is dangerous. We thought of never to do this again and telling this to CC head but feared anything bad may happen to us! God it's so easy. Now I realised that net is so unsafe. Even Im not sure whether my writing all this is safe for my future at IIT Kanpur or not.

P.S.-- Dassa is an IITK Lingo for a 10 pointer. We have grading scale of 10. A person getting SPI 10 out of 10 is dassa! A 10 pointer.
