It was a freaky day. moving in a group of three- me Lava and Kush- we first went to shopC. There we couldn't decide what to eat. So we went to CC canteen. Again we couldn't decide. In the end, me and kush took ice-cream cone. We thought "yaar din bhar dabbe ke samne pade- pade kya karte hai hum log. Lets move out some where". Kush said ki aaj junta bahut kam dikhai de rahi hai. I instantaneously responded "yaar aaj sunday hai. Jinki family hai wo family ke saath ghoomne gaye hai, jinki wo hai wo unke saath gaye hai, jinki kuch nahi hai wo hamaari tarah walk par nikle hai". We decided to give some rest(pleasure?) to our eyes so we went to Park 67. Sat there in he green sometimes dicussing about the anti-reservation forum and somithing more serious. That is this Park 67 is not meant for us because it is on the other side of the SAC chauraha.
Note: The SAC chauraha is an important location. Not because of its being near SAC or somewhat. But because it divides the two communities of IITK: the Student Community and the Faculty. All hostels, academic area, office and everything is on this side of chauraha. The definition of life@IITK is very different on the two sides. And the let me tell that no proff. would want any type of connection between the communities. The one reason I can guess to it is that they are being protective for there children, specially girls. The Park 67 is on the other side of SAC chauraha and you can hardly find a student there.
